I first connected with Kate Marshall a few years ago through Instagram—we realised pretty quickly we had a lot in common, from teaching backgrounds to raising families and living rurally.
Kate’s work is grounded in the countryside she lives in, with a real focus on open landscapes, big skies and those everyday moments of light that feel familiar to so many of us. Based in Wagga Wagga, she paints from her home studio overlooking paddocks and rolling hills, drawing directly from what surrounds her. She completes many beautiful commission pieces throughout the year. Kate brings a considered and professional approach, and has a strong eye for creating and capturing beauty in her surrounds.
